The terms you agree to when you use Prime Sports
Plain terms for a platform that registers teams, runs games, and takes payments. How events themselves are officiated lives in Rules & Policies.

The agreement
By creating an account, registering a team, or entering a Prime Sports event, you agree to these terms, to our Rules & Policies, and to our Privacy Policy. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a team or organization, you confirm you’re authorized to do so.
Where these terms and a specific tournament’s posted rules differ on a playing matter, the tournament’s rules govern that event.
Accounts & roles
Parent and player accounts are self-serve. Staff roles — coach, umpire, tournament director, and organization director — are granted by invitation or approval, not by signing yourself up for them. Requesting a coach account puts you in a review queue; it doesn’t grant access on its own.
You’re responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. Don’t share an account between people who should have separate ones — the permissions attached to a role assume one human behind it.
Players under 18
A parent or legal guardian must consent before a minor participates. Consents, waivers, and media releases are signed electronically by a linked guardian account, and an electronic signature carries the same weight as a written one.
Coaches who add players to a roster confirm they have the authority to do so and that guardian contact details they enter are accurate. A player’s own login, where used, is intended for older teens and doesn’t replace guardian consent.
Registration & fees
A registration isn’t confirmed until the entry fee is paid and a tournament director accepts the team. Submitting a registration and paying places you in the field subject to that acceptance, division capacity, and roster eligibility.
Entry fees are set per tournament or per division and shown before checkout. Teams are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and equipment. Financial aid, where a tournament offers it, is reviewed case by case and applied as a reduction to the amount owed — it isn’t a guarantee and doesn’t carry to other events.
Rosters lock and eligibility applies as described in Rules & Policies. Playing an ineligible player may forfeit the affected games.
Refunds & cancellations
Refund terms — including withdrawal deadlines and what happens when Prime Sports cancels an event — are published in full under Refunds & cancellations. Those terms are part of this agreement.
Weather is part of outdoor sport. A tournament shortened by weather after play has begun is not automatically refundable; see the weather policy for when a game counts as official.
Camps, clinics & subscriptions
Camps, clinics, and showcases are registered per player rather than per team, and may have their own capacity limits and pricing shown on the session page. A session may be cancelled if it doesn’t reach minimum enrollment; if we cancel, you receive a full refund.
Paid live-feed subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal and keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Basic live scores stay free — a subscription covers the detailed play-by-play feed.
Conduct
On the field, the code of conduct applies to coaches, players, and spectators alike. On the platform, don’t:
- Misrepresent a player’s age, identity, or eligibility, or upload a document that isn’t genuine
- Use in-app messaging to harass anyone, or to contact families for anything unrelated to the team or event
- Try to reach accounts, teams, or tournaments you aren’t connected to, or probe the platform’s security without our written permission
- Scrape or republish player information, or use it for marketing or recruiting outside the event
What you upload
You keep ownership of what you upload — rosters, documents, messages, and team details. You give us permission to store and use that material for the purpose you provided it: running the event, verifying eligibility, and operating the platform.
Results of play — scores, statistics, standings, and rankings derived from them — are records of the events we run, and we publish and retain them as part of the competitive history.
On-field decisions
Umpires’ judgment calls are final and are not reviewable. Protests are limited to eligibility and misapplication of a playing rule, must follow the process in Protests, and are decided by the tournament director, whose ruling ends the matter.
Schedules, field assignments, and formats can change — for weather, field conditions, or the tournament’s operational needs. We notify affected teams and umpires through the app and by email when they do.
Assumption of risk
Baseball and softball carry an inherent risk of injury — from thrown and batted balls, collisions, sliding, field conditions, and weather. By participating, or by allowing a player in your care to participate, you accept those risks.
Teams are responsible for their players’ supervision and for ensuring participants are physically fit to play. We enforce pitch-count limits and rest requirements as a safety measure, but arm care and a player’s readiness to take the field remain the coach’s and guardian’s judgment. We don’t provide medical coverage or insurance for participants.
Liability
The platform is provided as-is. We work to keep schedules, scores, and standings accurate and available, but we don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and live scoring is entered by people during a game.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Prime Sports isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses — including travel and lodging costs — arising from a cancelled, shortened, or rescheduled event. Our total liability relating to an event is limited to the entry fee you paid for it.
Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions, in which case they may not apply to you.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms or the code of conduct — falsified eligibility documents, harassment, or attempts to access other people’s data. Where a removal happens mid-event, the refund terms in Rules & Policies apply.
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing an account doesn’t erase the results of games already played.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date when these terms change, and we’ll email account holders about material changes. Terms in effect when you registered for a given tournament govern that tournament.
